The Guild is supported by the community from students taking classes and donations. We also give back in many ways. We have a Scholarship program for high school students and our members donate to many worthy causes. Recently our Guild members contributioned to Arts Unleashed, an art auction that benefits The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City. Here is a link to information about the sale. http://www.hsgkc.org/artunleashed2007.html

The main way we give back is thru a scholarship we give once a year to a high school student. Ten dollars of your membership is given to this fund. It is the William Bracker Memorial Scholarship Fund and is given to a graduating HS student to further their ceramic studies. Scholarship donations are tax deductible.
