Clay Parties

For Adults 16 and up

The base rate for a Clay Party is $200.00 for up to 10 people. There will be a charge of $15.00 for each additional person with a limit of 20 total participants.

As KCCG conducts classes 4 evenings a week and Saturday mornings, we ask that parties be scheduled on Friday or Saturday night or Sunday afternoon.

THE FEE INCLUDES:
• 1.5 hours of instruction given by an member-artist.
• One bag of clay (25# in one bag).
• Bisque firing of clay.
• A KCCG member-artist to help lead your group (up to 20 people) through a hands on creative clay activity from start to finish. You may choose hand building (recommended) or a throwing activity. Hand building is recommended if you want a finished piece at the end of the party. The throwing activity is for fun…the chance of mastering the tricky throwing process in 1 1/2 hours is unlikely.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
• A $100.00 deposit is required at least two weeks in advance of the party to reserve your event. If your party is canceled before two weeks, KCCG will refund $75.00. If the party is canceled with the two weeks before the event, KCCG will refund $50.00. Should the party be canceled two days before, KCCG will refund only $25.00.
• Come prepared to get messy as the process IS messy. Very casual attire is recommended.
• The pieces made during the party will not be glazed. However, A glazing/firing coupon is available for an additional $5.00 fee for each piece of pottery. The artist may come in on their time to glaze from a selection of Glazes.
• You will be contacted approximately two weeks after the party, to collect the finished bisqued work.
• Food and drink may be brought in for your event. Please be advised that you will be responsible for cleaning up after yourselves.
