Amy Anderson BIO
Six years ago, while getting my undergraduate degree in Art Education at the University of Missouri-Columbia, I developed a love for the ceramic medium. After graduating, and moving back to Kansas City, my art education career came first. However, the KC Clay Guild allowed me the opportunities and learning exposures to continue growing my pottery skills. I am thankful for the Guild and the services they provide!
With the excitement generated from my first ceramics show this April at the Guild, I am more motivated than ever to continue my artistic journey through clay, and continue to learn fabulous new skills and tricks from fellow artisans. I hope to be part of the Westport Art Fair this fall, and anticipate participating in other shows in the Kansas City art scene.
